After receiving the word from a doctor, an exhausted Rihanna canceled three U.K. shows and plans on taking it easy before hopping back onstage.
The 19-year-old singer followed doctor’s orders and skipped both Saturday and Monday performances in Nottingham and Birmingham, England. The pop star also plans to sit out tonight’s show in Bournemouth.
In a statement released by Birmingham’s NEC Arena, a disappointed Rihanna said that she “appreciates the love and support of all her fans and wants nothing more than to see and connect with them.”
No umbrella to shelter her from exhaustion, Rihanna is on the shelf.
Although it’s not clear what’s ailing the Good Girl Gone Bad singer, it is safe to say that fans may not get to catch a peek of the recently Grammy-nominated singer before she wraps up her European tour.
That tour is scheduled to end December 21.
