A native of Longview, Tex., Miranda Lambert is an country singer and songwriter who gained fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, a talent show on the USA Network.
Signed to Columbia Records in 2004, Miranda Lambert made her debut on the country music charts that year with the release of "Me and Charlie Talking," the first single from her 2005 debut album, Kerosene.
Her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, was released in 2007.
Miranda Lambert has charted six singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, in addition to recording two studio albums. Kerosene also received a platinum certification by the RIAA for selling one million copies in the U.S.
