Lil Wayne
This isn’t the first Lil Wayne arrest.
Sadly, we’d be surprised if it were the last.
Lil Wayne was arrested on three felony drug charges Wednesday after federal agents said they found illegal drugs including cocaine on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona.

The rapper (real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) was being held at the Yuma County Sheriff’s jail on state drug charges, Capt. Eben Bratcher said.
Reports say Lil Wayne appeared via video arraignment late Wednesday morning in a court in Wellton, 35 miles east of Yuma.

Sean Combs
Diddy, real name is Sean Combs, is changing his moniker.
Again.
The mogul, formerly known as Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, then just plain ol’ Diddy, has switched names again, to Sean John - which is the the mogul’s first and middle names, and the name of the entrepreneur’s clothing line.
“I have always evolved and taken a different name each time. Right now I want to be ‘Sean John’ because that’s where I am right now,” Sean Combs said, adding that he hopes his latest name change doesn’t cause confusion.
We’re guessing he’ll be alright. The hip-hop legend took on new ventures last year, including a multi-year, 50/50 profit deal with Ciroc vodka.
Combs also released a fragrance dubbed “Unforgivable.”

Sean John / Diddy has many names, and wears many hats.
In the past decade, Diddy / Puff Daddy / Sean John has taken on the various roles of recording exec, backup singer, performer, producer, writer, arranger, designer, and actor - he is estimated to be worth over $300 million.
Along with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, what’s-his-name remains one of the most successful, and influential figures in rap and hip-hop, as well as all of music.

Amy Winehouse
Somebody needs a trip to “Rehab.” Or several.
Nothing Amy Winehouse does is that shocking, but… a video of her smoking crack? And we thought the bar couldn’t be lowered any further.
In the tape, obtained by The Sun (U.K.), the Grammy-nominated singer admits to taking “six valium a day” before lighting up a crack pipe. Amy Winehouse “took hit after hit of drugs after a 19-minute binge in which she snorted crack, ecstasy and cocaine,” before going to her husband’s court hearing. Yikes.

And so the Amy Winehouse free-fall continues.
Blake Fielder-Civil, her troubled husband of nearly a year, is being held without bail on charges that he tried to tamper with and bribe a material witness in an assault case that was already pending against him.
In the past two weeks, Amy has partied with record producer Mark Ronson and her ex, George Roberts, fueling speculation that she and Fielder-Civil are on the rocks. Others say she, Ronson and Roberts are “Just Friends.”
UPDATE: Here’s the alleged video of Amy smoking crack …
Where will the Amy Winehouse express roll to next? Stay tuned.

James Rousseau
Aspiring singer James Rousseau was interviewed by the BBC - the first interview we know of where he’s publicly spoken about his relationship with girlfriend Kate Bosworth as well as his music. Here are some excerpts…
“Music has always been a big part of my life. My mum plays the guitar and so she used to strum chord progressions and I’d sing with her and make up a melody as I went along, so I loved to harmonise and improvise from a young age.”

“I wrote “To Make You Mine” as a gift for [Kate Bosworth] … She’s always been a great inspiration for me in my life. I’d put music on the back burner for a while and when we started seeing each other I’d play her songs and she used to say ‘you should definitely go back into the studio and start recording.”
James Rousseau, 27, has just released his first song, called “To Make You Mine.” According to his MySpace page, “James Rousseau is about to finish writing for his debut album, and will start recording in April this year.”

Lily Allen
Despite suffering a miscarriage mid-last week, Lily Allen is determined to return to work and move past this personal tragedy.
The British singer, who was four months along with her first child, will be shooting the pilot episode for BBC3’s Lily Allen and Friends in London.
“She has insisted on coming back to work this week,” a BBC insider said.
“Obviously, it’s tough for her right now, but Lily Allen is a professional and sees going back to work as a way to focus on something else.”

In December, Allen, 22, announced that she and Ed Simons, a member of the Chemical Brothers, were expecting their first child together.

Snoop Dogg
Yes, a story about Snoop Dogg that doesn’t involve jail!
The rapper’s marriage, which looked to be over when he filed for divorce and sought child custody in 2004, recently got back on track.
Now Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante Broadus, renewed their wedding vows to mark their 10th anniversary. The Doggystyle star - a.k.a. Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. - surprised his longtime spouse on January 12, 2008.

The Dogg arranged a romantic ceremony attended by 200 guests to renew their nuptials at a ranch just outside Los Angeles. Dressed in a black tuxedo, Snoop exchanged vows with Shante Broadus / Dogg for the second time.
Of course, the romantic gesture was filmed as part of his reality TV show, Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, and will air on E! sometime next month.
Scarlett Johansson is a beautiful, fairly talented actress.
But can she sing? We’ll find out soon enough, as the beauty is set to release a Tom Waits cover album on May 6. It’ll be titled “Anywhere I Lay My Head.”
But in a recent interview, Waits didn’t sound particularly psyched to hear the CD:
“I don’t know if I’m excited to hear it, but I’m curious. People make songs so that somebody else will hear them and want to do them,” the crooner said. “I guess it’s an indication that the songs aren’t so ultra-personal that they can’t possibly be interpreted by anyone else.
I’ve seen her in movies. I don’t know what she’s going to do with the tunes. When you get a hold of somebody else’s song, you make it your own.
That’s all you can do. And that usually requires a certain amount of tailoring. Cut the sleeves off, lay some buttons. Everybody does something different to a song, that’s the tradition.”
Doesn’t sound like a ringing endorsement, does it?

Coldplay
Might a new studio album from Coldplay fourth album be released this spring?
That’s the word from England, as a handful of UK-based online retailers have already listed the album with a May 19 release date. Its rumored title? Prospekt.
Frontman Chris Martin said late last year that the band was very close to finishing the record, which would clock in at 43 minutes.

James Rousseau
James Rousseau is pretty much known for two things:
- Looking pretty;
- And dating Kate Bosworth.
But the British model is hoping to break into the music industry and has actually released a single called “To Make You Mine.” We wonder who it’s about.
According to Rousseau’s MySpace page: “James is about to finish writing for his debut album, and will start recording in April this year.”
Here are the lyrics to Rousseau’s debut single:
I’m lost in thought all the time
You are always on my mind
You rise a light known (?) that I’d seen before
You kept coming back for more
I wonder if you know what you mean to me
Let it overflow over you and me
I will kill a thousand men to make you mine
The blood upon my hands won’t mean a thing
I’m as good as dead without you by my side
I might as well be crucified
You won’t let me in
You put me back on my feet
You paint a smile on every face you make
I try to do the best I can for you
I love the crazy things you do
