Beyonce, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and the Foo Fighters are among those scheduled to perform at the 2008 Grammy Awards ceremony.
Reports say Beyonce may perform with the legendary Tina Turner, while the Foo Fighters will perform in conjunction with the My Grammy Moment contest - where one winning instrumentalist will perform with Dave Grohl’s group.

Beyonce is ready to heat up the Grammy Awards.
The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 10 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, free of interference from the striking writers.
The union announced earlier this week that while the strike continues, its members will not picket outside the awards venue.
No word on whether Amy Winehouse will make it.
As a star of High School Musical, Ashley Tisdale knows a thing or two about music. Or at least music she digs. Ashley recently blogged about her top ten favorite jams of 2007. Let’s take a gander at what’s on this hottie’s playlist …
- Carrie Underwood, “So Small”
- Paramore, “Misery Business”
- Rihanna, “Umbrella”
- The Used, “Pretty Handsome Awkward”
- Beyonce, “Irreplaceable”
- Michael Buble, “Everything”
- The Academy Is…, “Everything We Had”
- Plain White T’s, “Hey There Delilah”
- My Chemical Romance, “Teenagers”
- Justin Timberlake, “Summer Love”

Ashley Tisdale loves Michael Buble. Don’t we all?
With her debut album, Headstrong, debuting in February and selling over 765,000 copies to date, Ashley Tisdale is trying to balance her signing career with acting alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Nikki Blonsky & Co.
What do you think of her selections?
Well, in Britney’s case, at least in terms of Internet traffic!
As we all know by now, Britney Spears ascent to mega-fame went off the rails since she divorced aspiring rapper, spurring the bulk of her online notoriety.
For this reason alone, she was the most commonly searched for “musician” this year, narrowly beating out Beyonce, according to Yahoo!
Spears’ did release a new album, Blackout, but it looks like that will fail to go platinum, quite a departure from the Britney of years past. No, her search engine popularity is due solely to her train wreck status.
Perhaps Britney could have learned something from Fergie (#3), who suffered her personal life downfalls (crystal meth addiction) in relative obscurity first before hitting it big and hitting the confessional circuit later.
Here’s the full Yahoo! Top Ten:
- Britney Spears
- Beyonce Knowles
- Fergie
- Akon
- Avril Lavigne
- Hilary Duff
- Hannah Montana
- Shakira
- Chris Brown
- Ciara
Two men - Akon and Chris Brown - and one alter ego joined seven familiar starlets on the list. Hannah Montana, of course, is really Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus does have her sizable Search presence (#23), but Hannah Montana hysteria proved far more relentless. That Hilary Duff sure is consistent, too, as is Avril Lavigne. You just can’t get rid of either one of those two!
As for Akon, he’s up for four Grammy Awards this year, which is about the number of times he’s gotten into legal trouble in the past 10 months.
